Oluseyi Olukola

Oluseyi founded Afritech Medalytics to build technology that people in high-stakes settings can rely on.

He is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Southern Mississippi, where his research in the Cyber Innovation Lab focuses on trustworthy AI for education, cybersecurity, medicine and child safety. He also teaches web application security.

Before his doctorate he spent five years at Bcplus Technology in Nigeria, building data and predictive systems for the oil and gas sector. He holds an MSc in Applied Data Science with Distinction from Teesside University and a BSc in Physics with Electronics from Olabisi Onabanjo University, and reviews research for Springer Nature, IEEE and PLOS ONE.
